iOS error code -1100

Hi all! I use BT2.0 for IOS. When I try to go to a webpage using html doc plugin I get the error: "iOS error code -1100 nor error message:The requested URL was not found on this server" But if I add this URL to the browser, the URL works. Please, some idea? Regards, Jorge

Are you by any chance trying to access a DropBox URL that's not in the Public folder? That would produce such an error. What error do you see in the debug console when trying this? Mark

Hi Mark, Thank you for your answer. No, I do not use a dropbox. I use only a URL using html doc plugin. On this page (URL) there is another link that works on safari or firefox, but if I click using the iPhone simulator, then I get this error. The error using the debug console. (I mean you ask for): 2012-11-06 08:35:12.909 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_screen_htmlDoc: webViewDidStartLoad 2012-11-06 08:35:12.909 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_screen_htmlDoc: showProgress 2012-11-06 08:35:12.910 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_viewUtilities: getProgressView 2012-11-06 08:35:12.914 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_screen_htmlDoc: didFailLoadWithError: iOS Error Code: -1100 iOS Error Message: The requested URL was not found on this server. 2012-11-06 08:35:12.915 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_screen_htmlDoc: hideProgress 2012-11-06 08:35:20.029 onplouara[248:17f03] BT_screen_htmlDoc: alertView:clickedButtonAtIndex: 0 Thank you. Does the URL have any spaces or special characters in it? File names (on the end) of the URL that have funky-ness are almost always death to the built in UIWebView. Have a look at the BT_screen_htmlDoc.m file and look for the "didFailLoadWithError" method. You could output the URL or whatever it's failing on to the output console? Lastly: Keep in mind that the didFailLoadWithError routine can run in cases where you're not expecting it. Example: The URL to the webpage is fine but the webpage itself contains a bogus URL to an image, css stylesheet, javascript file, etc. iOS has to load ALL the resources on the page or it complains. And, it's not enough to know that Mobile Safari (built in browser) will load the webpage. It helps but it's not the same thing. The UIWebView that your project source code uses is NOT the same as the Complete, Fully Functioning, World Class Browser app called "Mobile Safari" - same technology, totally different implementation :-)

Hi David, Thank you very much for reply. Now I understand how it works much better. I have fixed the issue using "custom URL" plugin. Now it loads the URL without problems. I appreciate your help. Thank you. Best regards, Jorge
