1.5 Image Gallery

I am doing first android app for a art gallery and just completed iOS version (in review they don't like nipple in the artwork (so may jokes available)) and thought I would try my first android app. Having problem with 1.5 app showing gallery. Do I need to move to 2.0 I would also like to apologise for my absence from the forum, I feel its a dereliction of duty and David has every right to take away a my lone one star. To explain myself I have been developing apps from a car and free variable wifi, hence my activity has been spasmodic. PS Apple reviewers - we all have nipples and in an art app its hard to have sculptures that dont reflect this. I think the review at apple has had a bad breast feeding experience

Hi Marko, Gallery plugin for 1.5 is operative only for ios and a paid plugin is available for 2.0, thats too for ios only. We dont have a gallery plugin for android so far but i am sure some one might be working on it and we can have one soon.

I dont know how to make a gallery using flickr for android apps. But there is a great tutorial by @ceerup on jquery image gallery. I have used photoswipe framework for image gallery in one of my android app with the help of the said tutorial. It is very simple and i hope this one might help you too. Thanks Sandeep will have a look at that tonight - Great help Hi Macapple, when I was a kid my brother and I tried to do an irish version of west side story it just ended up in us fighting and my Irish mum calling us "eejets!". Also sang to a cute girl in my area - "Maria- just meet a girl called maria" - didn't go down well as her name was Lucy and she had never seen the film. Look forward to your android plug in

Thanks Sandeep that is really helpful will work on this and understanding BT 2.0 this week PS Just read a book about your city called Shantaram, the author has a deep love of your city. It make Mumbai feel like London in the 60's - vibrant, evolving, chaotic and entrancing.

I think you will soon understand bt 2.0 coz its not so difficult to understand it with the background of having knowledge about bt 1.5. I have not yet read the novel Shantaram which i think was written by Gregory David Roberts. But todays Mumbai is very different than what it used to be in last 15-20 years back i.e. since when i have seen it. Old people say that Mumbai back in 60's was really a beautiful place to live but today, its just like any other metropolitan cities around the world full of crowd and pollution. But still it feels nice to live in here.

Yes it is Gregory David Roberts book, loved reading it. I appreciate the world changes and it seem that Mumbai will be a key city in that change and that's fascinating. I am a bit biased as I love some great bollywood films such as Dhoom 1/2 Anyway my ramblings is taking the forum thread away from the subject - my apologies

Nice to know an englishman being fascinated about Hindi movies. There's a good news for you. Dhoom 3 is going to be released in couple of months and guess what? Aamir Khan is playing thiefs role this time.
