Hi all. I am new a new user creating a snow resort info hub app to complement www.snow.ca (my hobby / website). I finished a lite version of the app which lists and sorts by province (Canada) and then directs users to websites. More interesting is a Google Custom Map I populated. I have set up a menu to direct users to this custom URL (native launch URL and then points to http://goo.gl/maps/FdKcn ). This URL used to work in my emulator fine. It works in the iOS emulator fine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MSxcwqOA7I&feature=channel&list=UL.). 2 questions: a) any reason anyone can think of why when http://goo.gl/maps/FdKcn is launched in Android emulator it does not work (it gets to map slowly but does not populate the bubbles. That said, the list of 239 resorts does show up). At the same time the iOS is seamless. b) side question: is this app too generic in terms of pointing to web addresses to be approved. I think I put a lot of work into organizing for people seeking snow resort info but have read that Apple especially does not like menus pointing to websites. Maybe the map will save me here IF I GET IT WORKING! Ha appreciate any feedback, sorry for length.
