Why should we pay for stuff that were free!

Hi all, I dont know if you had used version 1.5 which was available more than a year a go. I was so excited to start using V2, but was left without a reasonable answer why should we pay for plugins that were available in previous version for free!!! I dont mind spending few $ on new plugins that i need but i didn't like the method! I am sure the brains that were able to put buzztouch where it stands now, should have been able to regenerate their plugins! At the end great job for the plugins developers and I was extremely satisfied with their level of professionalism.

Hey Wissam.....all the plugins that came with 1.5 ARE "free". You can tell because the "installed" button will be grey out... So...don't freak out...no one is trying to do any shady business. Things just move a bit fast here and it is better to subscribe to David or top 25 to get updates. Now...I could go into a rant about how much buzztouch "should" cost...but I think you will discover that on your own after you do your part and investigate a bit. Good luck and look forward to your creations. Sheri

Hi Wissam, I think you ended up answering your own question there. Actually a lot of the plugins are free. The more advanced ones not so. Those that are not free are very reasonably priced because they do take a lot of time to create, test and standardise. Unfortunately brains alone do not make plugins, you need time too, even if it is to move it over to version 2, there is time spent, editing, testing and the like. I find these plugins well worth the investment, as they save plenty of time, time that I can spend more productive elsewhere. Trust you agree :)

@Wissam: "why should we pay for plugins that were available in previous version for free" You shouldn't. If you're paying for plugins then we can only assume you're paying for them because you can't (or choose not to) make them yourself. You can do anything you want with the code for your app - without paying - 100% free. Or, if you don't to spend three days making something yourself you can pay for it.

Thank you all for your feedback, @kaybee, I just want to clarify one point that i do really appreciate the work of all the plugins developers. They have been providing great help for me and for others for a long period of time and they deserve all the praise. I have installed some plugins and planning to install three more in a new app. @David, i am happy to buy any plugin that is going make my working time shorter. @Sheri, I dont agree with the idea that all the V1.5 are still in V2.0 and free. Image gallery is not there, adding header image to a menu is not there. Finally, I just wanna say that your work allowed people like me with no code experience to be part of this game! can't wait to see more creative plugins out there!
