I recently purchased a new plugin (Menu with Icons) and am wondering if there’s a way I can change my initial home screen and other simple menus I’ve already created to use this plugin without deleting the older simple menu? My concern is that if I delete the home screen menu to change it, I will lose all of the connections for subsequent menus and screens. Another alternative is to copy the JSON childItems from the old menu, and put them in a dataURL for the new menu. (This is a more advanced method, but completely viable). Its just a case of inserting the menu text and re selecting the screen it points to. Which if someone had a menu leading to 400 screens, it would be a hassle. But as you said, if there are only a few sub menus, its not a huge deal. Sorry if it reads that way buddy! Its just i remember when i first needed to delete a menu i was a little unsure if i would lose my screens attached to it as it kind of feels like you are CREATING the screens from within that menu if you know what i mean. 400 screens. Wow that's definitely a few packets of paracetamol to rebuild that. The very thought is giving me a headache.
