iOS App submission

Hey guys, I've been developing an iOS app on Xcode on a borrowed Mac. I am now ready to submit it to Apple through my own Developer account (ready to sign up). But my question is, will there be a mismatch in the Apple ID used for the Xcode software and the Apple ID that I use for the Developers Account.. i.e are they linked through the submission process?? Sorry if this is not making much sense... its been a long day testing! Tish.

Hi Tish, Just responded to your email, but I'll answer for the community as well. You absolutely can develop your app on somebody else's Mac. When it comes time to submit to Apple, you'll need to sign your app with your Developer Certificate and Provisioning Profile, which you'll get when you sign up for the Apple Developer Program. You can also download those onto the current Mac, and just select them when it comes time to sign the app. There is also a point in the submission process where you have to log in with your Apple Developer ID account. So, everything will match up, and you'll be good to go. Just remember to sign with your certificates, and not your friends! Mark

That's great, thanks for the quick response once again Mark! A bit more testing on the iPhone then time for submission =)
