Problem after changing v1.5 to v2.0

I followed the guide to changing my v1.5 app to a v2.0 app and I've reached up to the last stage and I have changed the mac64bit problem to run it on the iOS simulator but it doesn't run.. I think it's because my project name in the right panel under identity is still my old app name but it doesn't allow me to change it to the new app name.. it says “newappname.xcodeproj” couldn’t be moved to “oldappname_v15_iOS” because an item with the same name already exists. To save the file, either provide a different name, or move aside or delete the existing file, and try again." I'm not sure what to do please help...

Not sure if this is "right" way but what I did is my 1.5 application was named "BeACNA" and my 2.0 was named "revisedBeACNA" but when I uploaded to xcode I made sure everything was named the same so apple would recognized it. That way I stayed organized with updates. Hope that helps Sheri

Hi. No I haven't sorted this out , what I'm going to do is recreate all my v1.5 apps with v2.0 on the buzztouch ctrl panel. It's probably the best thing to do.

HI armacfan, I did indeed get my v1.5 apps working perfectly with Xcode 4.5 & IOS 6. I will get the update to Rohan for the How To.

Oh, ok will check for the update in that guide but at this moment, since I need to convert it quickly I will recreate them. It's currently the quickest method. If you can say, how long will it be before the guide is updated?

Hi armacfan, I created a template Xcode project for you to try. It should go quickly. Also, there is an INSTRUCTIONS.txt file included for you to follow. Let me know how it goes. Link below https://dl.dropbox.com/u/39276137/yourappname_v15_iOS6.zip

Hi . Thank you for the help. I'll try it out with my app and reply about how it went off. Although with all due respect I feel like starting from scratch so that my app will be completely clean. Thanks a lot.
