Problem with New iPhone and Resolution

Hi, When I run my app on the new iPhone 5 simulator, the App doesn't take up the full screen. How do I fix this? It only uses up how much space the iPhone 4 had...The rest is black. Thanks (Latest xCode from Mac App Store and Latest OS X Mountain Lion)

Hi @Jenny21, buzztouch is coded to maximize the screens provided by the previous generation of iPhones. The display you are seeing is what happens when an app that has not been changed to accommodate the new screen sizes is run on the new phones. So, in short, this is expected behavior. The guys at buzztouch are working hard on changing the code to take advantage of the new screen sizes, while also working with the older ones as well (of which there exist millions more than the new ones!). You're going to see this happen with a ton of the apps on your phone that haven't made the changes as well (from people other than buzztouch). I'm hoping that we see the changes in buzztouch soon! Hey, from my experience using BT selfhosted, the new package that you download will have the app run in full screen. Cheers. Miguel

GoNorthWest is correct. All v2.0 apps have been coded to take full advantage of the new iPhone 5 screen size. I can confirm as my apps in testing work with this screen size. The only way this could happen is if you're using an older v1.5 app in the simulator. Because v1.5 is discontinued, I couldn't really recommend anything more than start again with v2.0

However, this will not make the v1.5 app work with the bigger screen size. I have tried this before. it's a useful guide though

Hi guys, So V2 does not have this issue, only V1.5? I'm all for version 2, but the issue is that it doesn't have a good image gallery, and I don't want to important all my projects over. Otherwise I'd be all for it, as I have very good hosting. Thanks
