Any input on using Odesk?

HI All, Has anyone had experience using Odesk to have part of their app developed? I am considering using a provider through oDesk to jump start my app and create a page that I can not do and then use that code to make it into a plugin. Any thoughts or advise on this? Thanks

Hi Kaybee First and foremost, it is usually better to post a project with an hourly rate. Developers don't like the fixed price option because oDesk doesn't have escrow. If you want to have it at fixed price, I would suggest making use of Elance as they do have escrow services. https://www.odesk.com/contractors/software-development/sc/mobile-apps/ This link will show you all the developers that fall under 'mobile apps' https://www.odesk.com/contractors/?clear_button=1 This link will give you the different categories where you can fine tune your search. You can invite people to apply to do your project. I am a contractor on oDesk and I love working there. https://www.odesk.com/trends/Android - android developers https://www.odesk.com/trends/iPhone - iPhone developers (You will see they have developers that have written the test with their scores) Try to make use of developers that have a 4.5 and more rating. You can also see what their 'employers' have to say about them on their profile pages. Sterkte met jou onderneming.
