Errors(100 of 102 displayed)

I have been having an issue with eclipse. I just downloaded it ( again, along with the android sdk, the Java JDK, and the ADT plugin while running as admin. Unfortunately, I have been receiving the error message in the console that I have 100 errors with the code. Is shows the type as Java Problem, and includes GeoPoint cannot be resolved to a type BT_screen_map.java /buzzTouch/src/com/exeterblackboard line 748 Java Problem and MapActivity cannot be resolved to a type BT_screen_map.java /buzzTouch/src/com/exeterblackboard line 274 Java Problem and Overlay cannot be resolved to a type BT_screen_map.java /buzzTouch/src/com/exeterblackboard line 709 Java Problem as well as others. I have looked through every forum and website and manual that I could find, but nothing works. Thank you for your time.

right click on your folder in the Package Explorer -> Properties -> Android -> Google APIs 2.2, API Level 8 (this is the only target that should be marked) Think that should solve many problems.

what is froyo? It has to be set to Google APIs (Platform 2.2 ; API Level 8). Sure it is set to that? Next step would be to check if you have any plugins that are for IOS only, they will cause problems too.

as described in my previous post. right click on your project folder and go into properties. Probably not a bad idea if you read the Android resources we have here too: https://www.buzztouch.com/resources/ Good luck.

Are you running the latest Java SDK? Also try right clicking on your project folder, select Android Tools then select Fix Project Properties. Then Clean your project after that. Hope it helps

... with the Google API as mentioned several times the errors would have disappeared for sure!

@androidonly2486 - glad it worked! @LeonG, On occasions I've had to use the fix I posted above even though I've selected google api level 8 and other times it's fine. The fix above is a sure fire method if your not using maps. I think selecting the method of getting the app into eclipse has a bearing (creating new project versus importing a project).
