Facebook

So I have searched the forums with no luck. I am simply trying to get my facebook page to load upon clicking a line with the simple menu. I have used the open URL plug-in but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks! Ben.

http://www.facebook.com/yourpage standard url should work fine with custom URL plugin. Try pointing to bbc.co.uk if that works then its 100% nothing wrong with the plugin but rather incorrect URL

Use the "Open in Native App" Plugin and use the "Open in URL" there, that should work.

In my iOS app I have a link from simple menu that opens up my apps Facebook Page in the native FB app. Here's what I did: 1. choose the "launch native app" screen 2. In that screen's settings, set "application to launch" to custom url scheme 3. For data string type "fb://profile/ENTERFBIDHERE" 4. Find your page's facebook ID then paste that in the link where it says ENTERFBIDHERE that should work. the fb:// tells safari to open up the link in the native fb app. hope that helps. Josh

Could you explain how you find your FB Page ID?... if it helps my facebook page is facebook.com/ausvisa Thanks again for all your help :)

You are a champion! it worked. Just out of curiosity.. what happens if they dont have the facebook app installed? (think this would be less than 1% haha) Thanks again! Ben.
