Getting IAD onto a BT app - how is it done please?

I am developing an app with IAD in it on BT 2.0. I have enabled "Include Advertisements on this Screen" for my test pages. I was expecting to see 'test advert banner at the top or bottom of the screen. I'm running my app on my iPhone, but I don't see any difference. I'm guessing I need to do something else, but I don't know what! Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks, Alan

If I understand correctly, I cannot register the app in iTunes Connect until I submit it to Apple, which I am not ready to do yet. I'm assuming there is a way of seeing test ads before hand - isn't there ?

You can you set up the app in itunes connect first, you only submit the binary when you want to publish it to the app store. You need to setup in itunes connect first so you can tweak iAd, game center, in app purchases.

Thanks @Kittsy So, if I understand this link correctly, first I create the entry in iTunes Connect and then work backwards, entering the relevant detail to the app build. http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/ToolsLanguages/Conceptual/YourFirstAppStoreSubmission/CreateYourAppRecordiniTunesConnect/CreateYourAppRecordiniTunesConnect.html Apple never fail to amaze me! Cheers, Alan

yeah it does make sense in a way. You put your idea in they ask for your identifier com.yourapp.com then everything links up. as I said when setting up the game centre and in in app purchases it does make sense

I just never looked at it that way. I am actually looking to upgrade an app published a year or so ago - it used phonegap back then, but I plan to use Buzztouch this time around. Would I just register the published app for IAD and then use the ID from that?

create the app when it iad links up with your bundle ID make sure it matches the id in xcode and they will match up.
