Hello and Thank you....

Hello. I'm Chris and I'm from Kendal in the English Lake District. I have absolutely zero coding experience and had been looking around for something to help me create apps when eventually I stumbled upon a reference to Buzztouch. Wow! I think I have found what I am looking for! That was about a month ago, and since then I have listened to all those brilliant Buzzcasts twice through and am working my way through the wonderful BuzztouchU videos for a second time. (I wish there were more!) I am also trawling through the forum posts and tinkering with a test app. Sadly, just as I found Buzztouch, iOS 6 came through and Google mapping was lost. Apple's version just doesn't have sufficient satellite detail for the location based trail app I had hoped to create. I'm hoping they can update that soon! Buzztouch may not have complete drag and drop simplicity, but creating an app this way does seem do-able even for a newbie like me. I am very excited by the possibilities and so is my son Nick who hopes to complete a school project through it. The community, and the founder seem so supportive and these are great times to be joining in- there seem to be new and brilliant plug-ins popping up every day. I'm really looking forward to learning and doing more with Buzztouch. My thanks to all involved....

You could still do Google Maps via the web, I think. Would that work, doing it as a web link?
