Hi all - I'm Warren Evans from Effingham Illinois. AKA Warren Evans in the Buzztouch forums. (Pretty easy to figure that one out :). If you've never been to Effingham, I'm not surprised. For about 20 years, this city held the distinction of being the geographic center of the United States. That's why we're known as the "heart of America". There is a 160 foot tall Cross at the intersection of the two major interstates and the railway. (Can't miss it...) I have been a follower of Buzztouch since January 2012 when I was looking for a way to help a local business that I'm involved in, Coles County Dragway. There's a lot of personal history there, and I currently spend my weekends there as the race announcer. I developed a promotional app (CCDLINK), which led to three other app development opportunities. My full time work is in network operations for a multi-state telecommunications company. My avatar is from a couple of weeks ago when Linda and I attended her brother's wedding. We're not married, just living in sin (haha). She has kids and grandkids, and I have four kids and two grandsons. I am thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to help build this Buzztouch community through the Webinars we've been putting together. This netowrk of great and talented people is by far the most valuable thing I will gain from buzztouch, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it. Thanks definitely go out to David Book who has become a good friend, and to all the relationships that I've gained in this brief time. Looking forward to seeing you all soon at a Webinar or meet up! Hey Warren, Good to hear more about you !! I think everyone appreciates your webinar organisation. I think the best thing about this BT forum is that everyone is adding there own litle strength to it and making it into a super forum. There are plenty of people that contribute without expecting return, and even the newbies very quickly take on that culture. Keep it up and look forward to seeing some interesting apps from you ;)

Was lucky enough to meet Warren earlier this year. Finding a way to help David or contribute to the overall goal was a big desire for him. Super glad to see him find a great way to drive the community effort with the webinars. Great stuff. I love his calming voice/tone, he's like stobe with the golden pipes. IIRC his old nickname was "WaterBox Warren" which comes from his days at the dragstrip. He's kinda evolved into "Webinar Warren" now! Someday for sure have to come down to see a race, maybe when my little guy is a bit bigger. Love the updated photo, keep on sinning my man.....
