General Question

I am new to this whole thing but am trying to learn everything I can and very excited about learning this type of, for lack of a better word, discipline. I was wondering can I go all out through buzztouch i.e. make an app like words with friends or a baseball game or am I better off spending my time learning everything about xcode or eclipse? Like I said I haven't gotten through everything and there is a ton more I know I need to learn but it seems like buzztouch will only allow me to create basic apps. I am very eager to learn and gather all the information I can.

Hi @Bmex163, Welcome to buzztouch! You can actually go all out through buzztouch and make something like Words with Friends, but it would take a LOT of extra, custom coding. buzztouch provides a great framework and starting place on which to build anything you are capable of. And, it provides awesome plugin functionality that requires NO programming at all. You're really only limited by your knowledge of Objective C (iOS) and Java (Android). I will say that both Xcode and Eclipse are just development environments, and are used to compile the code that you provide. So, you want to focus on learning the languages above, and you'll use both of the other parts in that process. The is an amazing forum with lots of super talented people. So, do your research, try things out, and post when you hit a wall! We're all here to help! Mark
