Global List Row Background, Row Selector

Hey All, Im hoping someone can help me out. Im working on a project that had 650 screens. I need to my Menu Row Background Color to be White and My Row Seperator to be Red. I use to be able to accomplish this from my global theme and it would work on all my screens thoughout the app. I must now manually enter these fields on each one of the advanced properties screens within each screen. Is there an easier way to do this like it was in Global themes without killing myself. Im going nuts doing this, trying to remeber which of the 650 screens have it or not. Any help would be great. Thanks Anthony

I talked with David about this last week. The global theme has been scaled way back to just the core properties for the app. This is because the way plugins work, it would be near impossible for individual properties from each plugin to be added to the theme options. Its also a matter of performance, since each screen would have to go through a bunch of code to see if there were theme settings for each property before continuing. I have been brain-storming on how to remedy this, for the very reasons that you are experiencing. And I have some good ideas. But for now, since they require manipulation of BT's backend and control panel, and BT is already up to their ears with other things on their to-do list, it probably won't be addressed for a while.

I can give you a work around for this, but it would require detaching your app from the control panel, and over-riding the BT_config.txt in your app (xcode).

Hi Anthony, You haven't responded to my latest mail. I can imagine that my questions don't seem relevant (at first) but to help you out I need to know exactly why and what you want to accomplish. That's also why I asked you if you have msn to discuss this closely. I think I have the solution for you but got to know if that makes sense. You were talking about my design menu (you thought that it would be a suitable solution for your problem). Using the design menu will have you to create all your menus again. Is this what you want? So many questions on this..... Please let me know if I can help. Best Regards, Danny

Danny, Sorry for the oversight of your last email. Please check email. Stobe, Thanks for the offer. I rather not disconnect from the CP just yet . Anthony

I understand. I talked with David about this again today and were going to test something out. If it works, it won't be a perfect fix for everything. But it should work in your case.
