Calendar plugin

Hi all, Unfortunately, I am not clever enough to write my own plug-ins, so therefore I have to rely on this great community. I am looking for a plug-in that will take a list of events and display it nicely in a calendar. Assuming you have the calendar data in an Excel file with "Date", "Time", "Place", Description", "Misc.", "Etc". You put the data on a server (maybe after it has been converted to Json) and link the plugin to that server. The output should be a nicely designed calendar with all the events put in. Does anybody know of such a plugin? or a workaround so I can do this? Or even better - does anyone of you clever guys want to make a plugin like this. I would be happy to pay a modest fee for this plugin (5-15 $). Kind regards, Kristian Nielsen, Copenhagen, Denmark

Hi guys.. I would LOVE to see this plugin too, as my type of clients NEED it. However, I'm too swamped with other plugins to take another on. I think if there's enough interest another plugin developer will go after it, after all, I think we all would pay a good penny for it! Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com

Hi all, I'm working on a plugin like that. Not a calendar view but an event list. Hope to release it soon (prob 2 or 3 weeks from now. The style and workflow will be based on the concept of my other plugin: The Blog Pro Hope you're interested in this too Best Regards Danny

Hi Danny, Looks very promising. Will definitely give it a try. However, can i persuade you to include a sort function by date? That way, one could use it as a calender-list. Thanks and kind regards, Kristian

Hi Christian, Thanks for your response. What do you mean by a sorting date function. In the upcoming plugin you create child items. Every child item is an event ( with all the details of the event). In the control panel you can change the order of all the events ( child items). Is this what you mean? Best Regards, Danny

Hi Danny, I understand what you mean, but it was not exactly that way I thought it. Imagine that you have a list of events that takes place on different dates. If you sort it your way, one will have to sort it manually, but it can of course be done. As the events tend to change date now and then, this would make it harder to sort the events by hand if you have a large number of events. In the ideal world, if you have a date-field that can be sorted, the events always be in the correct order. In any case, your list would be a great improvement and I could live with the fact that I had to sort it manually. Hope you get what i mean :) Kind regards, Kristian
