Wondering if possible?

In my app (available at http://tinyurl.com/8nnbpxr), I want to include a feature that allows users to view news based on sport and/or team. Does anyone know how to do this or if it is possible (at least through Buzztouch or another easy source)?

RSS feed would be my guess...do you want the user to choose what team he wants to read about or just display all sports news?

I want the users to be able to choose some of their favorite teams' news and only that. I already have feeds from different sports networks.

I'm not sure if RSS feeds are designed that way. I think you could find some code online that would parse the feeds with the mentions of their selected teams. But that's just some advice. I tried with RSS feeds before but they only show what the original website wants to show (short description, title, thumbnail...) but when user clicks on link it takes him to the web...honestly, I haven't been able to figure it out from here on and gave up. I'll follow this post and hopefully someone gives some advice.
