Wanna Encourage You All to Develop Small Business Plugins

Hi Everyone in the amazing Buzztouch community. I just want to encourage all of you who'd like to develop a plugin to think about developing plugins that will suit the small business website market, because this is a HUGE opportunity for people who want to develop and sell plugins. This market is EXPLODING,there are many companies developing solutions for this niche, I just saw another today, and I'm linking their features page here so you can see the types of things they think make good small business features (opportunities for plugins) http://mobilemeglobal.com/tour/ Also see http://www.biznessapps.com/features.html If as a community we develop these types of plugins we can all benefit - the plugin owner can make money from plugins and we can all make money making mobile apps for the massive world wide small business market. I'm developing a loyalty application now (I've hired a coder, I'm an internet strategist, not really a coder)and I'm also developing a custom shopping cart that will suit fast food. I'm spending big $ developing these and be more than happy to let you all know about these when they're done. Also want to stress the need to develop your plugins for both Android and iOS because businesses need to reach people on these major platforms, a half the market solution doesn't really cut it for Business. Really excited about the future of Buzztouch, if anyone wants to discuss their plugin ideas with me (I won't steal your idea's, just add encouragement and insights where I can) feel free to hit me up on skype david.mollet1. Simply put if you make a killer small business plugin I'll buy it so everyone wins, you me and all the small businesses your plugin serves.

Yes keep us posted on your developments. Be interested in shopping cart for fast food. Currently working on html order form for fast food with total calculation and order summary using an online form builder. Shopping cart may be better solution but form will work well once completed. Thanks for the info.

I second and third this idea. More plugins means more customization of our apps and more customization will mean more people using BT and buying the plugins. If I knew how to code and make plugins, I would. For now I'm using jotform to create order and contact forms. @mr stuck...what html program are you using that calculates orders? Anything better then jotform?

good stuff. IIRC there was a user @ here that just had a bad experience with Bizness apps and moved over to BT. here's one problem i constantly come up against with trying to make a plug-in for both platform. the hardware. android apps use the hardware buttons on the devices. iOS do not. Your layout and user interaction is different. think about how that affects the design and functionality of a screen....

This is something me and atrain slightly touch up on on the phone.. Android code might be similar then Apple code (objective-c, ect) as david states, HOWEVER, the environments (xcode/eclipse) and the devices (iphone/android) are VERY VERY different. It's hard to ask a apple developer to code a plugin for android, and vice versa, trust me, I've attempted! What I'm thinking is eventually android and apple developers will get together and port each other's applications for mutual benefits. I like the idea of that happening, and would encourage it. Other then that, great post and great idea David! I could be wrong too, just speculation really, but people asking for plugins make it sound easy when they say "make it for android too?" or "why did you not do it for ios too?". I just wanted to shed some light? Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com

I like the idea of partnering. If some of us focus on iOS and some on Android, and maybe even some of us on the control panel interface, we can make better plugins. Sandeep just did some Android work for me that I plan to turn into a plugin. I already had the iOS code. I completely agree that clients expect to have both iOS and Android.
