Re-compile for iOS 6?

I have three apps in the App Store (thank you Buzztouch!), all compiled when iOS 5 was around. They seem to work ok now with ios6 and also on the iPhone 5 but should I recompile and download the source code and resubmit to the App Store or should I leave we'll enough alone? Thanks.

Have you looked at them on an iPhone 5? They look cool? Couple of Apple tweaks change a few things on how the apps looks and feel but all seems well on my end. I always think it's a good idea to do an update, part of your house cleaning as it were, keep users engaged, add some tweaks yourself. SO.... If they all look and work well on new phone I wouldn't resubmit just for the sake of it, add some features, show your user base you are active and up to date.

No, you don't really NEED to do any recompiling since BT hasn't started to support the new screen.

@stevek No, all the code that gets exported from the cPanel, will be the same as iOS5 so, there's no real changes that will be made by recompiling.

It'll be the same for both iOS 5 and 6. No real need to recompile.

Software has to be backwards compatible, so iOS6 will easily run an iOS5 app (or even iOS1 app). No recompiling will be needed. If you wanted to, you could, but I'd leave it.

So from what I have read above, the only real need to re-submit the app to the app store is if you want to support the new 4" screen on the iphone 5?
