emulator errors maybe a path problem

I cleaned my hard drive and removed Java and reinstalled the JDK in a new location. The emulator now has these errors: Starting emulator for AVD 'testAVD' Failed to create Context 0x3005 emulator: WARNING: Could not initialize OpenglES emulation, using software renderer. could not get wglGetExtensionsStringARB could not get wglGetExtensionsStringARB ... Do I need to set a path somewhere or is the error something else?

I would suggest reinstalling the Android SDK as well. It requires a valid java location for install, so if you've moved the JDK to a new location, it might be having issues with that. I haven't check through every preferences option in Eclipse, but a quick search didn't show me a place to configure the location of the JDK. So, maybe doing a reinstall of the Android SDK would help. Hi @5735TRACEY, Welcome to buzztouch! I think the easiest thing would be to go into your AVD Manager, delete the currently defined emulator, create a new one, and see if that works. Looks like for some reason it didn't get initialized properly. Mark

Does the BuzzTouch.ini file exists in the place it says it can't find one? If not, try creating such a file there with these contents: target=Google Inc.:Google APIs:8 disk.dataPartition.size=4096 path=C:\Users\ForSalebyTracey\.android\avd\BuzzTouch.avd Mark

Ok, I copied the .android file to the path that the emulator was searching for...no errors, but no sign of the emulator yet..

Any error in the console pane? It should tell you if it's launching or not.

Hi, I am also getting this error message, every time I launch an AVD, no matter what parameters I use, and even when the Emulator seems to be working fine. I got the latest Bundle pack from Google, so I dont think there is an install problem. So I´d love to know if you found what the problem is. Thank you! Yosi
