Appirater

Has anyone successfully installed a recent version of Appirater? It seems to differ from the version explained in the link below: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?fid=B60C6EE41CD7D289048B0F4&tid=B60C6EE41CD7D289048B0F4 If not, has anyone got a version of the Appirater source code from around the time the above thread was posted (around 7 months ago) or from when they did manage to successfully implement it? Thanks

I just installed Appirater in iOS today. Where are you having issues?

Hi Red Dog, The obvious problem is I am getting a project error for the line: '@implementation Appirater' in Appirater.m file. Error reads '@synthesize of 'weak' property is only allowed in ARC or GC mode' ??? The broader problem is that I don't know what I'm doing. I mean that was the only error but I don't know if what I was doing made any sense. Do you have a step-by-step for the installation or some screenshots of what you did maybe??? Did you have instructions to follow? Thanks

Hey AppOneBeta. I did install it today and compiled my app with no errors. But. It seems that Appirater is not working. Let me troubleshoot this and I will get back to you.

OK. It is working. I just needed a little patience. I will put together a step-by-step tonight, but for now, just keep it simple. In the Apperater.h file just add #import "your_app_appDelegate.h" And only change items in blue text.

Hey Guys. Sorry for the delay. I thought I was running the latest Apperater, but was not. I have downloaded the latest one, and have worked out the "bugs." Putting together a PDF as we speak and will post it soon.

Hey guys, I've got everything working in Debug mode, but my only problem is I cannot hit "cancel" after selecting that I would like to rate the app. So the only way to exit is to force quit the app and restart. Any ideas?

I've gotten it to work too, HOWEVER, clicking "yes" to rate, or whatever button it is to rate, makes the popup go away and do nothing. Double checked guide - did it all :( David
