RevMob and Tab Layout

Hi All :) Just a quick question. I have just installed RevMob but the banner ad seems to replace the tab icons. Is it possible to have the banner at the top of the page? Or does it simply mean I will have to get rid of the tabbed layout? Cheers, Ben.

A better question for this I just realised is... Is there a way to only display ads on certain pages? (I.e. Custom HTML screens)? Cheers, Ben.

Hey Ben. I found a fix to your toubles! (attempted 3rd person joke) So I had a fiddle and basically got it only appearing for the screens I want :), that is the custom HTML. So with the help of Kittsy's info here (https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=F195B4EFD9073205917F695&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=revmob&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory=) I added some stuff to the view controller.m which basically means when using the back button the add won't appear where you don't want it to. Also I added the [RevMobAds showBannerAd]; and #import <RevMobAds/RevMobAds.h> to the Custom HTML plug in .m file where I wanted it to appear. Lastly, I didn't want the banner appearing when I opened the app, so I changed the following in appdelegate.m: //when app becomes active again - (void)applicationDidBecomeActive:(UIApplication *)application{ [BT_debugger showIt:self:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"applicationDidBecomeActive%@", @""]]; [RevMobAds showFullscreenAd]; [RevMobAds hideBannerAd]; Note: it is hide banner ad. Working like a charm :)

Hey everyone. I just installed RevMob today and all seems right with the world accept (on my test device) if I click yes to downloading a free game, it opens a window that looks like the app store but not the real app store. If I click "install" nothing downloads. Is this because I am on my test device or is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Hey Red Dog, I am in the same boat. I think this may be because of two possibilities. A - The app is not live on the app store B - The user who has installed the SDK is not able to download (not sure how it determines you are the user) I think if people could download, bots could be set up to just keep downloading the thing. Just my 2 cents. Regards, Benjamin Corney.
