File not downloaded yet

Is there a problem with the custom html section or am I doing something wrong? I created two custom html screens just to run my project in Android. I typed two words in html section and it doesn't show up on my emulator. I get a File Not Downloaded Yet error. What's the problem?

Check whether your internet connection is on while testing the application on your emulator. The custom html files are hosted on bt servers so the emulator needs active internet connection to assess the html file.

I guess that was the problem because after waiting and refreshing the emulator a bunch of times it finally displayed perfectly. I guess this would be the reason to try self-hosting...don't have to rely on the connection to BT?

The bt server works perfect without any problem at all. I have been using bt form many months now and never faced any such problem. But if you got a good server then self hosting might be a good option for you.

I just thought the problem with refreshing my app and displaying the changed content was due to bt being somewhat slow. I don't want my users to run into that problem when I upload it to the market. But if you say that it works just fine then I'll go ahead and try it. Anyway, I don't know how the self hosting works so I'll stick to bt servers for now.

I saw this thread already made and I have a question. In my app I want to present my group with little description. Is it possible to somehow integrate that text in app so it wouldn't have to download every time you open that description? Thank you!

Yes, thats possible. Instead of using custom html or custom text you will have to use html doc plugin for that. Create an html page with the text and description you want and include the heml file in your project. All the files relating to the html (like css, images and other files) will go in the bt_docs folder of the project.
