Assistance Please

I apologize if I am in wrong area...I have followed tutorial and have transfered data to Xcode. When I run the Iphone Simulator I do not see menu items I have created. The only option I can select is Iphone 6.0 Simulator. This is different from tutorial where it shows them using 5.1. When I try and select 5.1 simulator, it asks me for my Apple Developer ID. Do I need an Apple Developer ID to simulate the App I'm trying to create? And is the reason I'm not seeing my menu items, because I am in 6.0 and not 5.1? Any guidance is appreciated.

Hey there all looks good, Have you copied the BT_Plugins folder to xcode? Don't stress about 5.1 vs 6.0 should not effect it. If you want to do a google hangout quick and share your screen we can look at it quickly. PM me. Cheers

Hi Kaybee, And yes, I am a newbee! How do I meet up with you on Google? I fully understand if you haven't the patience for this.

You don't need an Apple Developer to run Xcode or the iOS simulator. You DO need your developer account in order to download Xcode. Sounds like you already have it downloaded and installed. The next time you will need the developer ID is to login to Apple to get provisioning file to run the apps on REAL devices. But you don't need that now to test/use an app on the simulator. It sounds like the SDK you have only has the ios 6 simulator. What iOS Deployment target do you have the project set to? Try chnaging that to 3.0 and see if more simulators become avaliable. Otherwsie you may need to download the older SDK. if you input your ID when it asks, does it direct you to the Apple site to download a different SDK? It is tricky adding older SDK's to newer Xcode. I have not upgrade to 4.5 yet, but maybe some others here have and have tips....
