And remember, learning is a continuing process which ends only when we stop breathing. Well there are many android devices with many different screen sizes so creating background images for android devices is a bit tricky thing. xlarge screens are at least 960dp x 720dp large screens are at least 640dp x 480dp normal screens are at least 470dp x 320dp small screens are at least 426dp x 320dp The best approach would be to prepare images for normal screens and xlarge screens. This way your images will support both the phones and tablets. I have been using two different images in my apps with size of 960x720 and 480x320 which perfectly fits for all the devices.
