Having Problems with The Mac Image Gallery Plugin

Hi, I bought and installed the MacImage plugin and it isn't displaying the image I uploaded. The image uploaded is a JPG and when I click on the image in the file manager for the app, the image appears. I sent an email to the plugin author about two weeks ago, but have had no reply.

When the app is running, while connected to Xcode (device or simulator), look in the Output Console. The console will show you where the code is "looking" for the image. It will look for it in one of three places... 1) The project itself (compiled in the project in the case of an image file name and not an image url) 2) From the image url (in the case of an image url and not an image file name) if it's never been downloaded to the device before 3) From the cache if it was previously downloaded from a URL

Ok this is where I'm up to. In my Buzztouch pannel a path is shown for the image that I have uploaded <a href="https://www.buzztouch.com/applications072212/JA1474DC64BE92B65392276A8/images/Pizza%20Gallery%201.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">https://www.buzztouch.com/applications072212/JA1474DC64BE92B65392276A8/images/Pizza%20Gallery%201.jpg</a> So the image appears to be there on the buzztouch server. However, when I download the source code for the project, the images file is empty??? When I try and view the image in the ioS simulator it says in Output Console "File does not exist in xcode bundle: Pizza Gallery 1.jpg" THOUGHT MAYBE Spaces in filename caused issue So I uploaded another copy of the image removing spaces https://www.buzztouch.com/applications072212/JA1474DC64BE92B65392276A8/images/PizzaGallery1.jpg Then recompiled and downloaded the file. Again-No images in the images file downloaded Why does it appear in the path on the buzztouch server but fail to appear in the compiled source code I download????

You need to manually move the file into the Xcode or Android project. if it's Android it goes into the BT Images folder. If IOS it under res/drawable. I think its called. In the source folder you downloaded is a PDF that explains what needs to be moved into eclipse or xcode projects. The directory structure is diffferant for Android and Xcode. You need to do this for images, video content and documents. That is the way you do it when you are not referencing the content with URL's. You need to move it into the project so its on the device. if you use URL's in the control panel then your app will go out to the internet and get the images or docs to display based on the URL. (you can use drop box if you want in a public folder to store the images. Works well) If you use only a file name in the control panel then it needs to be in the project so it gets on the device..... Of course this make the app a little larger.

The source you download never includes media and other assets. It's always necessary to drag these files into the BT_Art (or video or whatever) folder after opening the project in Xcode. Some of these details are included in the instructions.pdf included in your download.

I was having the same issue until I realised that XCode didnt have the Macimage plugin. I had copied my images into the right place. So I downloaded the source files from Buzztouch again, copied the plugin to my initial source code folder then added the MacImage plugin folder to XCode. Now the image gallery works.
