On iOS, Safari recognizes phone numbers in HTML. <a href="tel:1-408-555-5555">1-408-555-5555</a> would show the number in the HTML. <a href="tel:1-408-555-5555"><img src='url to image'></a> would show an image, tapping image would trigger the dialer.
