Thank you for that advice. I am watching the video in buzztouch learning path and taking the quizzes. I am learning a lot. I also watch basic programing concepts in you tube and a few videos on Java code. It is just still really confusing. Should I try to make an app or should I still study a little longer?

I too am new to all this. So far I take it one step at a time while developing any apps. Although my apps are not that complicated i have found that the more i do the easier it gets and it drives me to look into doing more research to greater understand more stuff about features that can be added. My advice (and just my opinion) is to set up your coding environment etc and start putting an app together (nothing too complicated) to get a feel for how it all works. If you get stuck just refer to the how to's and also Fred's guide at www.myskylla.com. If you can't find the answers then post on the forum and you will be amazed at the support you will get from members on here who give up a lot of their time to help.

I had no coding experience. I started by making an app on the buzztouch website, which was easy enough once I got the hang of it after a few hours practise.... :) Then I only had a PC, so it took me about 7 days, from scratch, to figure out how to install Eclipse, get the app running and on day 7 I had an app published in the Google Store!! If I can figure it out anyone can. Just don't give up and you'll do it fine. My best advice - if you get errors, copy them into google and you'll find how to fix them. Good luck, it's definitely worth it.

Welcome to Buzztouch. Most of the advance users on BT were at some point just like you. No one had any coding experience whatsoever. But by taking the lessons on learning path and browsing the forum for common errors has helped many of the users on BT. Take all the video courses available in the BT learning path and feel free to post on the forum if you get stuck at some point. The forum members will dive in to and suggest you the solutions. You will for sure like the BT and its community members. All the best!!!
