Can I use one app as a template?

Hi. I'm new here. I'm almost done with my first app. This is fun! I got a few questions? When I'm done with an app is there a way I can save it as a template for another similar app I want to build or do I have to start over? Thanks in Advance

Welcome Mister206! Washington state ROCKS!!!! Here in Spokane! AKA Spokcompton..<smile> Missing the coast! Mukilteo is gorgeous! Welcome to Buzztouch! There is a great podcast by Stobe --it's a bit advance but great info none the less. To answer your question simply he will be having a plugin coming out real soon to help with that. Congrats on your app! Let us know when it is up in running in google play or apple store and make sure you get reviews! Message me anytime if you need anything Sheri

Welcome to buzztouch! I love Mukilteo as well...it's probably my favorite ferry terminal heading west. Good stuff there! Sounds like @stobe has something in the works to help you out. Definitely check out his podcast and website, idevdepot.com. @Sheri also rocks, and can help you a ton! Let me know if I can help you in any way! Mark

Thank you so much for your quick responses. Mukilteo is feeling the love. @Sheri. I will hop on over to where you recommended now and have a look. I'm must be in the right place at the right time:) Ive been toying with other avenues for building apps such as Free Online building programs that do all the processing for you and the idea of building apps with open source programs such as Titanium and PhoneGap. I now know BuzzTouch is the way to go! Speaking of which. Do either of you have know anything about Phonegap or Titanium? I have an HTML Background and some JS experience. Do you think either of these tools be a benefit to me? Or can Buzztouch do what these programs can? Thanks again! I look forward to learning lots here.

I think you've got your first app idea - the Mukilteo Ferry app. I have some relaives in Everett and made a trip up to Bellingham and caught the ferry back to Everett. Deception Pass. Just Wow. PhoneGap/Titanum are great, i've used some of thier tutorial and techniques to learn. But BT has no restrictions or limitations which is what it's all about. You can use HTML and JS in BT apps. Apple wants you to use native IOS stuff, but your HTML/JS skills will come in very handy as lots of HTML content is delivered to users in apps. +1 on AZ meetups, think Sedona :)

@Mister206 ATRAIN53 is exactly right they merge very nicely and he is a great resource too! I found buzztouch through one of the free <until they jacked the prices to $90 an app and put their adverts in...just appeared no warning>services then I found buzztouch through their forum. If you tried those you will see how much better buzztouch is. The main thing is you are the owner of your own source code. No one else. The brain children for this will hold your hand and walk you through along with the forum. The guys are all personable and do not have hidden agenda's. It can get a bit overwhelming because of so much information. When you do get frustrated...and everyone does.... take a deep breath in and out and just give it another go. David has put together awesome videos GoNorthWest has put in a bunch of pdf's step by step material that has saved my ass ...and ATRAIN53 has helped me a numerous times with questions and walk throughs too. Glad you are here! We will have to mastermind a buzztouch meetup for your area. Working on Spokane. This is a life changer for sure!
