No more 1.4?

hey all, I built all my apps in 1.4 as it was easy, and my customers liked it. Is that no longer an option? How come when I try and create a new app, it automatically chooses 2.0 for me (which I'm not great with...)? Thanks in advance!

Nope, no more v1.5 or v1.4 apps can be created. Check out this forum entry from @David: https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=B84D9F8B916B15B464E3B9C No worry though...v2.0 is just as easy, and we're all still here to help! Mark

Once again Mark thanks for answering my question...I just hope I don't have to 'upgrade' all my current clients to these new apps when they see how good they look...lol

You'll be able to keep all your current v1.4 apps, and even continue to make updates to them. You just can't create new ones. But please give v2.0 an honest look. With the plugin market in full swing, I think you'll find it as full featured as v1.4 and v1.5 is. The compiling and submitting to the markets for all three is the same, so nothing new to learn there! Mark

Yeah, I had a problem with one of my 1.4 apps getting approved by apple (got rejected twice) so I created a 2.0...It's just that all my costumers have 1.4 apps, and they are now all going to want upgrades to 2.0...which means remaking about 20 apps...lol lots of work I don't want to do.

If they are "paid" upgrades, then that should make the work a little easier :)

We don't charge for upgrades. But for what we're chagrinning for the app, the boss said we will not be remaking them! Made my day lol.

I know the feeling of having to upgrade 20+ apps, simply for me I had to move self hosted servers and all of my refresh data config links changed along with the new server. Took about 2 weeks but for sure a worth effort, gave me time to re-evaluate my apps one by one and make slight improvements. Cheers, David https://buzztouchmods.com
