HTML Zoom

Hi, Is it possible to set individual html doc screens to say x 2 or x 1.5 the default size? Thanks

Hi Rob, Yep, you can! Add this text to the <head> section of your HTML document. <meta content="width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=2.0; user-scalable=1;" name="viewport" /> You can change the initial and maximum scale values. I don't know what the limits are of those...you might want to research...but this line should get you where you want to go. Mark

Thanks Mark, I've seen this <meta thing discussed before but isn't this HTML I'm using 'load from this URL' to create the screen (for an Android app)so not sure how I can do this

Well, if you are loading from URL, then it's still likely an HTML type document, but it would be the responsibility of the URL owner to make the change. Probably not likely to happen! That being said, I'm not sure of the answer. I'm sure there's a way to do it in the code, but I have no idea what it would be. I'll see if I can rustle up some people smarter than me to pipe in.
