Learn to Program at Codeacademy

Hi buzztouch fans! Came across this interesting site today: http://www.codecademy.com/ It aims to teach you how to code via some pretty cool interactive lessons! I started one on Javascript, and was pretty impressed. It appears there are also lesson on Python, JQuery and Web Fundamentals. And it appears it's all free! So, if you're looking to learn a new skill, and you like things being interactive, it might we worth a look. Mark

Just finished my first lesson! I would use it more if it taught objective-c ;) Otherwise learning javascript would be fun too.. but need to prioritize, not enough hours in the day. Thanks for the share Mark! David buzztouchmods.com

I like it too. If you ever get stuck on a lesson, just skip it and move on. There aren't any negative ramifications for not finishing one step--it just shows as not done.

This is such a great site, thanks @GoNorthWest. Especially for beginners like me, it not only has a good pace and solid lessons, but I like how it has the points, streaks and badges system that sort of makes you feel rewarded. Awesome find! Khalid

I totally agree! I've steadily been doing the Javascript lessons...they're well written, engaging, and I feel like I'm actually learning something. Good stuff! Mark
