More than just a menu app?

I'm still trying to get my head around just what the capacity of BT is. I've searched for a dozen or so apps made with BT and they all seem to have one major theme in common...they are all essentially a menu view that links to other menu views with a few ultra-basic plugins like office documents, map view, email, call us, etc. Is this about the extent of a BT app?

Well you could have a peek at mine. My one includes maps, images, menus, sites, and call functions. It's called 'Berlitz Oxford' on Apple's App Store

The sky is the limit with buzztouch. The content screens are all pretty easy to use, and then you can also easily add quizzes and maps. Take a look at the plugin page for more ideas.

There are many advance apps created by the BT users. For instance have a look at the Think Hopkins app (both for android and ios) created by Susan. You will see how she has worked wonderfully using basic functions of BT to create such a detailed app. Also ceheck one of my app in which i have used a personalised image gallery and chat service. Zathrak, What you're describing is based on the historically "built in" screens that Buzztouch started with. But we're on the cusp of all new capabilities with the plugin market just opening. The only limit now is a combination of creativity and skill. Anything is possible now with BT. Check out this app for proof: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/workout-randomizer/id540787869?mt=8

I agree, currently unless you have code experience and are able to edit the output from BT, then us mere mortals can not create great apps. Without some good new plugins all our apps will start to look the same.

@Kaybee, check out Episode 9 of the last buzzcast, to see what can be done with buzztouch. I think you may change your mind about what buzztouch can do when you hear that story.

I have heard that buzzcast already. I have no doubt what CAN be done, you missed my point about what can be done by non coders. Don't get me wrong BT is an amazing platform to get us started, but there is still a big gap that needs to be filled for the non coders that want more....
