I installed the self hosted server quite a bit ago, received an API key and the whole nine yards. I've haven't developed an app using the self hosted account just yet. I've been using v1.5 but I feel like now is the time to move over to self hosted. One problem I'm seeing is on my buzztouch account details, under self hosted servers it says I don't have a server set up which in fact I do..the version I am running is 2.1.6 (see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/E9hn4wtrU ) I just noticed that there is a fee for self hosted servers...Since I already have the server installed from a while back do I have to pay the $30 every month to make apps? What happens if I upgrade the server to the newest update 2.1.7? Is there any documentation on how to successfully update the self hosted? To update you just reinstall overtop of your existing install, also your picture does show a api key-which I would blur out as it might be active key. Under your server go to admin/ server settings/buzztouch api/ then try to validate api key. Comments Go under the how to's for self hosting tutorials.
