The guides David has made are great starting points for now: https://www.buzztouch.com/files/howtos/bt-plugins-creating-sharing-selling.pdf to actaully put one together that works and will get in the market, it takes a combination of methods/lessons put together. think small like getting a simple button on a blank screen. Tools? the plug-in creator tool is where you start, it generates a plug-in templae that is your base. aside from that, I use Notepad++ and Xcode. That's it.
