Idea for an android app, suggestions appreciated

Not sure if this is the right category, but couldn't think of another one. I have thought of an Andriod app that I would like to design but can't think of how it would be created. My idea is that I would have 4-5 five icons on the bottom row as other apps have using the menu layout format, which would direct to a page with 3-5 icons on the top with text/images below it. I want to be able that users can navigate through the icons on the top and only have the text below it change and be able to keep the original 4-5 icons on the bottom. The same format would be for the other icons on the bottom row as well. I was thinking of creating it with custom URL and have it direct to a website that is using old fashion Iframe and HTML, but I would prefer not to or if need be then be able to disable the user to zoom in/out or move the screen around. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have an idea of 2-3 apps like this and if I can get it to work would be awesome. Thanks again, Howard

I'll get the discussion rolling here, because I'm kinda interested myself! Seems like the solution would be an HTML doc, with an iframe that changes the text/image when a particular button is pressed? Perhaps tied to Javascript or CSS? Mark

This might provide a way to do it. Thinking of using CSS to replace text in a div when its touched. http://www.willmaster.com/library/web-development/replace-div-content.php Mark

Worked up an example for you based on the link in my previous post. I think this should work pretty well? https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4993711/div_test.html Do a View Source for the page to see what I did. Mark
