I want to do the same thing with google play. But with Android you cannot have apps that are 300 mg big, due to a nbr of devices that doesn't have that much space. So the solution is streaming. I'm testing the streaming with a plug in for 2.0 and I'm trying to stream a h264 .mov file from my server and it doesn't work. Has anybody been successful at streaming videos on Android Apps, from a personnal server, not youtube or vimeo ? and if so what format did you use ? Tks for the help. Get 2Gb of online storage space FREE from DropBox : (my bonus link http://db.tt/cIAQuQbu) It's the perfect place to keep all your projects in sync! your photos docs, & videos anywhere & share them. never email yourself a file again! i hope this help.
