should I have two build files?

one for ios and one for droid? I thought the idea behind buzztouch was that i do it once for both platfors with some minor tweak for each. I fixed the issue with the splash screen and now my splash screen on my already released droid app looks too small .it is as if it grabbed the 1024x1024 pic which would be the "big" pic and i am using a droid x2 which i assume would be a small pic. so do i need a droid app file and a whole separate (but simalar)ios app file?

Howdy, Well, here's the catch: any changes you make in the control panel to your app will be reflected in BOTH versions of the app. In an ideal world it would work perfectly. But in practice...Android seems to have so many unique issues that many people end up creating an Android specific app. Not the fault of buzztouch at all...more the increasing differences between the two platforms. i am seeing that...lol I just started an "ios version" of one of my apps today. Hopefully i will have it up and running pretty quick. Thanks to you and David and MacApple and several others i have become pretty adept at droid apps; i think the last one o built just took me the better part of one day,so with a bit if help from y'all i should be approved at apple in now time. Thanks Mark Have a great day!

You'll be in in no time at all. Agree with Mark, due to the nature of Android (it isn't a BT thing) it can make sense to make two apps. Especially if they are for a client or a paid app.

I am just in the process of completing an app that runs on iPhone, iPad, android phone and tablet, but I haven't submitted for approval yet. It was interesting to learn the differences in in the way plugins work from Android to IOS. And if you are building for customers, many want apps for both, so you need to know what the limits are. I found that in some plugins, little features that work in ios don't work in Android, (rarely the other way round) but there is a large overlap of things that do work across both. And quite rewarding when it all works! It would be great to have a page of comparisons of all the plugins across both platforms!
