FIX - 1.5 and XCode 4.5

I'll admit I'm still somewhat attached to buzztouch 1.5 - that being said I discovered how to get it working with Xcode 4.5. If anybody has tried to compile a 1.5 app using the newest version of Xcode you've probably noticed it crashes and you get a "mach-o linker error". I searched for a fix and came up with this - Go to project target, Build settings, Then set Architecture to other, delete the $(ARCHS_STANDARD_32_BIT) , then write "armv7" worked perfect for me!

I like the sound of the "Macho Linker Error". It would make a good album name for a band. If I'm not mistaken, I've been adding both armv6 and armv7 in my 1.5 apps for a while now. Perhaps that was for a different error. Either way, good find, and glad it worked for you.

yeah actually I think armv7 was already there now that I think about it - maybe it's just the inclusion of $(ARCHS_STANDARD_32_BIT) that screws things up

Great find. We've made a few posts about "not updating v1.5" for Xcode 4.5 but this seems like an easy fix. However, I'm worried what may happen if we... a) Update this v1.5 setting in the code base (so it compiles with Xcode 4.5).. b) A user downloads a v1.5 project but is still using the older version of Xcode (not all people can use the latest version because not all machines are Lion or Mountain Lion). c) With the missing $(ARCHS_STANDARD_32_BIT) will the older Xcode version still be happy? Any thoughts on this are appreciated :-)

i've been using an older version of xCode for a while, and I've never had a problem by deleting $(ARCHS_STANDARD_32_BIT) . All my 1.5 projects have only armv6 and armv7 in that build setting.
