Dedicated Account Manager - What is this?

Hello all, I am looking at the upgraded accounts and notice the feature of a Dedicated Account Manager. Does this mean I would have a live human be able to help me? I am just getting beyond frustrated with the errors and issues trying to just launch my apps on an emulator. Please, could someone advise? I will gladly pay to have someone hold my hand through this initial process. Thank you, Mimi

I've only tried Android so far. Definitely have plans to work with iOS as well. Thanks! Mimi

Thank you st726! I've actually had the pleasure of Mark assisting me in the Eclipse forum on Buzztouch. He's helped me through so much in such a short time, but I'm now experiencing problems specifically with trying to launch my apps on an emulator. I cannot find answers to my questions in Mark's excellent tutorials. Even just creating an app on Buzztouch, with just naming the app, NOT creating anything else in the app, packaging it for Eclipse, I'm still running into errors launching the app in an emulator. I think I now completely understand the need to use Google API 8, and yet, I still have errors. Thank you! Mimi

Hey Mimi! "Stephen Mercurio is your Dedicated Account Manager and he's happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about your upgraded account, payments, billing information, or anthing else account related." This means if your looking to upgrade your account from free to developer, self hosted, etc, he is more then willing to answer questions you may have or help you get your billing/upgraded account set up. He can't however help you out with coding issues, xcode, eclipse, ect - we have a support forum here for that, so tell us what the problem is and maybe we can help you out? Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

Hello David, Thank you very much for the information! My brain is hurting again, so I will log back in tomorrow and post the issues I am experiencing. I really want to succeed at all of this, and I have the time to learn. My goal is to launch an app, specific to a local community organization that has over 600 family members who would all be highly interested in using the app. We have time to launch that big app, but I need to start rolling with smaller test apps in order to figure out glitches before our big launch. I think the goal is to launch by mid-November. However, I want to launch test apps by the end of this month, if at all possible. I did launch a small app earlier this year on another laptop (that is now in Heaven), so I am having to re-do the setup of Eclipse, and SDK, etc. again... this time, running into MANY more problems. Hope to talk to you soon! Thank you, Mimi
