iPhone5 question

will I need to redo all my screens? If so, will the iPhone5 automatically pick up the larger screens and iPhone 3/3G/4/4S automatically pick up the regular screens? What's the naming procedure? thanks!

No, similar to the iPad, the extra space will be blacked out.

Here's a comparison. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/76141353/iphone5.jpg The image on the left is one of my apps on an iPhone5. The image on the right is the safari on the iPhone5. You can see the added screen space. On my app, it's just blacked out. It does not impact the user experience at all. Once Buzztouch is updated for iOS6, I will update all of my apps with new images to fit the new screen size, but at least they'll work fine as is. The only issue I have found is one that's been noted before. When you open a map and click the icon to launch driving directions, although the iPhone asks if I want to launch the native maps app, it launches google maps in Safari. Other than that, the apps work well.

I didn't have the map problem in my app usin giOS6 on my iPhone4. It opened up in the new maps app. Thanks for the comparison though, very interesting. If I were to add iPhone5 sized screens to my app, would it know to show them in a 5, and show the older ones on a 4?

It's not as bad as I thought it would turn out, buzztouch will update soon most likely, then we will all be set! I just received my iPhone 5 about an hour ago, so I am still very excited!! Cheers, Raoul

If you guys haven't seen Prepo on the Mac app store then check it out. Saves a lot of time with prepping the images. Hopefully they will update it for iOS 6. Ryan
