14 errors. I'm new to Eclipse, not sure how to proceed with errors

Hello, I am receiving several errors. I followed the step by step guide located here: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf THANK YOU SO MUCH to the author GoNorthWest! At one point it advised me to post my problems here, so that's what I'm doing. You can view my error screen here: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=v3poqw&s=6 Please, could someone please help me? Thank you so much in advance! Mimi

Hi Mimi, Interesting issues! Have you made any changes to your downloaded code at all? If you highlight your project in Eclipse, then right-click, select Properties...Android, does it list Google API 8 as the selected Android API? Mark

Hi Mark, Thank you for helping. I have not made any changes to the downloaded code. When I go into properties, I have Google APIs selected. I don't see a Google API 8 as an option. Sounds like you're heading for a solution. I'm excited!! Thanks again! Mimi

Also, Mark, if I go to file -> new, I am not showing "Android Market" as mentioned in the Lesson 1: Understanding Eclipse video at BTU. Maybe I missed a few steps with installation? Thank you, Mimi

Hi Mark, I followed step-by-step your document. I must have messed up somewhere. :( I guess I'll take a look at it tomorrow when my head isn't hurting. Thank you for your help. Do you have any ideas on what I did wrong? Have a great night! Mimi

Hi Mimi, Yeah, this stuff makes my head hurt too! You should have Google API 8 or Google API 6 installed. If not, check out the document for info on how. Are there any errors that are showing up in the Console pane of Eclipse? That's different than the Errors pane, where you are seeing your current errors. I wouldn't worry about the File > New > Android Project unless you're planning on starting a new Android Project from scratch! If you're doing that, then you don't need buzztouch! ;-) Mark

Hi Mark! Ok, I am back, ready for my brain to be tortured. The errors are showing up in the error panel. Good to know about the File -> New -> Android Project. I will NEVER make apps using code. I was horrible in coding classes in college. Thanks! Mimi
