Apple developer interest is strong, while Google faces growing challenges

Sure we've all read this type of thing before but still interesting. http://www.mobilemarketer.com/cms/news/research/13821.html

Kind of funny because I want nothing to do with IOS 6 right now. I want all my apps to be compatible with iPhone3G still because lots of people use them. Using iOS 6 features means those people can't use it. But I'm not wiring cutting edge apps either. Mostly utility stuff. I'm actually having MORE interest in Android of late!

Interesting article! Weird that they say people are discontent with Google Maps...I've never found it short of amazing!

I have been in the Android space for about 2 + years (Both google play and Amazon).. With some apps in Itunes as well. A quick snapshot at what I have seen. Fragmentation is not that big of a issue anymore. Really it comes down to a few topics. (Paid vs Free and Users finding your app or game) A lot of Android users just don't like to pay for apps. I get this all the time 'why is your app not free' 2nd Getting your app noticed, can a user find your game or app to begin with? All around I have seen on both IOS and Android is getting very hard to get your app or game noticed. Banging my head on this one as I type. As for google maps, I really like it!
