Great tutorial Sandeep! Airpush is my favorite android ad server...Probably a little annoying to users, but they do have the option to opt out now! I recommend everyone to use the Smart Wall also, to increase revenue.

Hi...evrything is fine but i just found one error for the people new to airpush in your tutorial in pdf format...didnt check out video...but in pdf format the package name of airpush has to be cahnged evryones get there own app id which u specified but what about package name which is different from us!

I have mentioned it in the PDF that for each new app you will get a new SDK only for that app created on airpush.

Excellent, not using either of these now but will file away fro future use! I hope these add services pay off for you in spades. How much better is this than AdMob? I like the ability to target but CPM wise is really the bottom line right? I'm subscribing to that youtube channel, I have a hunch there will be lots of Android MUST SEE TV to tune into. My favorite Android ninja from afar. Invaluable resource. Great vid and tutorial. Perfect bkg music for that. I love discovering more world music.

@ATRAIN53- I created this video tutorial relating to Airpush specially for one of our BT member. I had a team viewer session with him and integrated airpush in his app. But still he was facing some problems with it while doing it himself. So i decided i do a video tutorial which would be useful for all others aswell. I have not used the airpush in any of my apps since i use startapp and its against their policy to use any push notifications. So i don't know about how much revenue it makes for developers. Startapp on the other hand has earned a handsome revenue for me and its my main source of income for my apps. I have posted the figures and screenshots in the respective forum (link below). Yes, thats one of my fav song from a regional movie in my mother tongue language. Itoo am found of music from all language throughout the world. Music adds some sense to life. @FourOne- Not only the video is down but my channel has been blocked for reason that the other video contained copyrighted music. I have sent an appeal to youtube, lets see if they restore my channel. If not i will upload the video either on google drive or dropbox.

hi, thanks for your pdf. i had no problem putting in everything but when i ran the app in the emulator a privacy notice popped up and click yes but then the app loaded, i didnt see any ads afterwards. is this normal? also i wanted to add the smartwall configuration that was mentioned in the official airpush doc public boolean onKeyDown(int keyCode, KeyEvent event) { if (keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_BACK && event.getRepeatCount() == 0) { Airpush.startSmartWallAd(); } return super.onKeyDown(keyCode, event); } but i am not able to get this code in, it says its incorrect. could you kindly explain how to enable smartwall for my buzztouch 1.5 app? thanks!

Can this be used to push my own notifications or strictly for ads?

No you cannot push your messages from this sdk, it is meant only for ads. You have to use xtify alongwith google cloud messenger in order to send your push messages.

Hi @Sandeep, Your airpush SDK installation guide is to the point and i got everything right. After i run the app i am not able to view any ads in the emulator, i have set this Airpush.startPushNotification(true);. So how to know if the ads are working or not. How good is startapps and can we use startapps with few of my apps or should it have a separate play account. By the way it is happy to see Kannada speaking person here :-)

Hi @SarikaSree, Nice to see you too... I personally hate notifications so i never tried airpush myself... This tutorial was made byme for one of the bt user who wanted it installed in his apps. You will need to set the configuration in the airpush account to send the notifications. Just check the settings and then you will start getting notifications either on phone or emulator. Really speaking i only use 2 monetization services... Admob and startapp. Admob is the best of all and you can trust it anytime. The problem though with admob is it generates very less revenue. On the other hand startapp is really good service which pays you on the downloads of your app. So if your app is good enough to fetch lot of downloads then you should use this service. I have about 69 live apps on play store and i use both these services in almost all the apps. The income is really handsome with the combination of both these adservices.
