I'm staying in v1.4 for now. I'm getting a couple of errors: On manifest - Attribute name "android:config" associated with an element type "activity" must be followed by the ' = ' character. and on Act_Home_Java - cannot be resolved to a type I would be grateful for ideas on how to resolve these issues. You need to put a space in between the <categoryandroid:name="android.intent.category.HOME"/> in the intent section of manifest file. it should look like this after corrections: <category android:name="android.intent.category.HOME"/> What error are you getting on Act_Home java file??
