looking for a do this first doc

I borrowed a friends MacBook Air and have downloaded xcode. Is there a "do this first, do this second" tutorial anywhere on or off the buzztouch site? i am not new to apps, i have 7 out on the droid market, just new to the apple side of things. seems like GoNorthwest or one fo the other more experienced developers had a tutorial that helped me with my first droid app...looking for a similar thing for xcode...thanks all!

In the process of writing one for iOS! In the meantime, though, there are several docs in the How-To section that should help. But I haven't finished the start-to-finish doc quite yet. :-(

Thanks, I figured if I could count on anybody it would be you! let me ask you this...I have installed x-code 4.4. It looks like it is fully self contained (unlike eclipse which requires getting the SDK and al that stuff)...do i just start a blank project and then drag all my files to it? seems TOO easy.

In a sense it is much easier than Eclipse! If you have downloaded the SDK, which you should have, then all you need to do is double-click on the yourprojectname.xcodeproj file in the root folder of what you download from buzztouch, and it'll launch in Xcode. Then make sure that all the folder that are in your source (like BT_Plugins and BT_Images) are also in your Xcode project. Drag them over if necessary.

Glad it's working! Let us know if you have any questions. Don't forget that if you want to run it on a real device, you need to get the $99/yr Apple Developer membership, because you need signing certificates. And that's a long-term cost if you want to keep your apps running year to year. Mark

That happens if you refresh the page that you just posted to. If you come back to the thread via a link, or from the main forum, it won't happen. Just avoid refreshing!
