Using HTML5 docs stored locally

I want to create an app that is created completely in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. I've completed this as a web app and can run it by using my iPad browser. Now I want to be able to create a regular app where all the docs are stored locally and be able to run offline. I've bought masses of books and spent hours of time trying to accomplish this but its like trying to get to the bottom of a fractal. I've spent time learning to use X-Code, Objective-C, Eclipse, Phonegap, etc and my brain is now totally addled. Then I came across buzzTouch (like yesterday) and it seems to be a perfect solution for me. Am I right to assume that with files created by buzzTouch and using a webView plugIn I will be able to achieve my aim. i.e., Treat the buzzTouch package as a wrapper to run my app under webKit? If so, the whole world should be told about this because it is an ideal way to create complex interactive books.

If you have html5 pages, I'm assuming all you need to do is: Create an html screen in buzztouch and input the html file name Download the source code Open it in xcode Drag your html5 and css files into the BT_Docs folder Compile and run. There may be some tweaks to make sure the htmls5 works. I've used Hype to create html5 pages and they work well in the Buzztouch environment. Here's a brief tutorial that will show you additional tweaks you may need to do: http://system-log.tyr.org.uk/2012/02/08/using-tumult-hype-for-ios-game-titles/

Thanks for your comments MGoBlue. I'm making attempts to create my first app now.
