Please I need help from veterans

Hello members, I'm really a newbie here. I just recently concluded the basic video lessons but i don't know how to start creating an application that will receive feeds from other website via RSS plugins. What I intend doing is to Master a particular RSS plugin template and use it to develop multiple applications based on different topics by changing the the target websites with same or a slight feature modifications for each app. In monetizing the App I would like to use Airpush ad network, how can I integrate their SDK after the app codes have been generated by eclipse as i don't have any programming skills. for example: An app on soccer update that collects feeds from different soccer update websites. etc. Can anyone shed some light and advise me on how to start up? Thank you.

Hi @connect2Danny and welcome to Buzztouch. The only limitations now are your imagination. Literally 1000's of people have used Buzztouch to create both iOS and Android apps, some with experience, many more without. Some folk make enough money to pay a mortgage, others a car payment and others just do it for the fun. I also see you mention soccer, happy days to that, few fans on here and I'm one of them. One of the first apps I made 18 months or so ago was similar to what you are talking about, a fan app for my team Glasgow Celtic. Download and have a wee peek, it's free and ad free but in serious need of an update. I think I still get around 25 downloads a day and the app has been opened something like 250,000 times. like I said it needs an update but was waiting for ios 6 and iPhone 5. I digress. Have a search on the forums and look at the link in the reply above, there are a ton of threads about making an RSS feed look slick and professional, from using a WP blog to the pipes above. There are also a good few threads about iAds and monetizing apps. Post back I you get stuck or have any specific queries. Have you managed to get Eclipse or Xcode up and running? Got a test app going or started one of your own? What are you using Server or 1.5? What you are looking to do can be accomplished with ease but an app with only RSS feeds may struggle to get into app store. That's when cool things like soccer quizzes, user galleries etc. one in handy. You mention not having any coding skills, don't worry about that. Some of us do and some of wouldn't know HTML from a tub of lard. You'll be truly amazed what you can do, trust me. Will it happen overnight? Probably not. Could you do it over a weekend? Perhaps. But what will happen, if you devote some time and effort is you posting a thread in a few weeks/ months telling us all your first app is live. Lastly buddy, try not to post the same thread with different topic titles multiple times, I see you sent me a couple of direct messages as well. This forum had some of the smartest folk you'll meet online, burning the midnight oil to help people they have never met and barely know. I know it gets frustrating waiting for an answer sometimes. Trust me sit tight and folk will help. Have a look at some of the how-to's written by people like @GoNorthWest they'll shed some light on what I know can be a daunting horizon. Anyway, once again welcome to BT my good man, glad to have another fitba fan join providing you don't support Man Utd. Hope to hear more about your app and plans. Happy Friday Keith
