Testing using a iphone and xcode

All, I'm having a real issue with the provisioning profile and code signing identity. I've gone through the developer assistant multiple times and cleansed the certs and keys before each as well. I even deleted xcode and reinstalled. my iphone is a 3S running 5.1.1 and xcode is up to date. I've paid for a developer account. Here are some screen shots: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/45438711/keychain%20shot%201.tiff https://dl.dropbox.com/u/45438711/organizer%20shot%201.tiff https://dl.dropbox.com/u/45438711/organizer%20shot%202.tiff https://dl.dropbox.com/u/45438711/xcode%20shot%201.tiff https://dl.dropbox.com/u/45438711/xcode%20shot%202.tiff With the current xcode install it says "A valid provisioning profile matching the application's Identifier 'com.sdsucampusinfo.com' could not be found" the previous problem was "there are two matching keys in the keychain" even though I purged and reinstalled the keys and can see in every keychain window that there is only one matching public/private with certificate. Thanks in advance, Ryan

Personally, I never use the Automatic Profile Selector. I create individual unique provisioning profiles for each app. In the iOS Provisioning Portal, you first need to create an app ID. Make sure the Bundle Identifier is set the same as it is in your app. In your case from the example above it would be 'com.sdsucampusinfo.com' Click on "Provisioning" then the "Distribution" tab. Create a new profile. I do two for each app. For instance, if my app is called Michigan Football, I'll create an Ad Hoc profile called "Michigan Ad Hoc" and an App Store profile called "Michigan App Store" Download each profile and double click them. That will load them into Xcode. Then in Xcode, select the appropriate provisioning profile for the app. In my example, I'd select "Michigan Ad Hoc" for installing and testing on my phone or ipad. You must set the provisioning profile in 2 sections - in the "Project" under "Build Settings" and in the "Target" under "Build Settings". I always make sure to set all instances of Code Signing to my profile. Hope this helps.

I found that this article and the part 2 of the article helped me tremendously: http://www.raywenderlich.com/8003/how-to-submit-your-app-to-apple-from-no-account-to-app-store-part-1
